Change the patterns that run on automatic.

I help people shift the emotional reactions, limiting beliefs, and habits that seem to happen by themselves — gently, at the level of experience rather than just talk. Lasting change is often visible in one to three sessions.

How I work

Not more talk — a change in the pattern itself

Most of what holds us back isn't a lack of insight. We already understand the problem; it just keeps happening anyway. That's because these patterns live below conscious choice — in automatic emotional and bodily responses.

My work goes to that level directly. Using gentle, structured processes, we transform the pattern at its root, so the old reaction simply stops showing up — and something more whole takes its place.

  • Shifts automatic patterns, not just understanding
  • Results are often visible within 1–3 sessions
  • Distinct from open-ended talk therapy
  • Available worldwide by Zoom, or in person in Boulder

The toolkit

Three methods, one purpose

I train and practice in three deep, well-tested approaches. Each works with automatic experience in its own way — together they cover an enormous range of human change.

Core Transformation

Developed by Connirae Andreas

A gentle, deep process that follows an unwanted feeling or behavior down through its positive purposes to a “Core State” — wholeness, peace, being, love. I co-designed its Coach Certification.

A method I especially love.

Metaphors of Movement

Developed by Andrew T. Austin

Works with the spatial metaphors hidden in our language — “stuck,” “weighed down,” “boxed in” — and literally moves them to shift the pattern. I've trained with Austin almost every year since 2009.

A method I especially love.

The Wholeness Work

Developed by Connirae Andreas

A subtle process that works with the sense of self — “the I” — to dissolve reactive patterns at a profound level. Also draws on classical NLP and Self-Concept work.

Investment

What it costs — and why it's worth it

A fair question, and one most coaching sites dodge. Here's the honest picture so you can decide with clear eyes.

  1. Start with a free discovery call

We talk about what you want to change and whether this work fits. No charge, no obligation — many questions get answered right here.

  2. Sessions are offered by package

Rather than billing open-ended hours, we work toward a clear outcome. Most personal change is well underway within 1–3 sessions. Individual sessions [rate TBD]; packages [rate TBD].

  3. You pay for change, not time

The aim isn't a standing weekly appointment for years. It's a real shift in the pattern — so the issue stops costing you energy, relationships, and opportunity long after we're done.

About Mark

A practitioner who learned this work at its source

Mark Andreas is an international NLP trainer, change-work practitioner, and author based in Boulder, Colorado. He learned Core Transformation and the Wholeness Work directly from the family who developed them — his parents, Steve and Connirae Andreas, pioneers of the field — and has long since made the work his own.

He holds an undergraduate degree in Peace & Global Studies from Earlham College. Early in his career he led groups of at-risk teens on three-week wilderness backpacking expeditions at the Monarch Center for Family Healing, combining individual therapy with group process around the clock — experience that shaped the grounded, humane way he works today.

Mark co-sponsors Andreas NLP Trainings with his mother Connirae and co-designed the Core Transformation Coach Certification. He trains internationally and lives in Boulder with his wife, Catherine Andreas, and their son.
