I help people shift the automatic emotional reactions, limiting beliefs and habitual responses that hold them in place — at the level of experience, not just talk. Change is a journey. Let's take the next step.
Mark Andreas — Boulder, Colorado
The Approach
Most of what holds us back runs on autopilot — a reaction fires before we've chosen it, a belief decides for us, a habit repeats. You can understand all of it and still feel exactly the same.
My work meets those patterns where they actually live: in the texture of direct experience. We shift them at the source, gently and precisely — so the change holds on its own. Results are often visible in just one to three sessions. This is distinct from talk therapy.
The Path
Three distinct bodies of work, learned directly from the people who created them. Together they form a single journey from stuck to free.
Especially loved
A gentle, deep process developed by Connirae Andreas. We take an unwanted feeling or behavior down through its own positive purposes until it arrives at a Core State — wholeness, peace, being, love. I co-designed the Core Transformation Coach Certification and return to this work again and again.
Especially loved · The growing edge
Developed by Andrew T. Austin. We listen for the spatial, moving metaphors already in your language — "stuck," "weighed down," "boxed in" — and literally move them to shift the pattern underneath. I was present at its earliest presentations in Colorado in 2009 and have trained with Austin almost every year since.
Deep work
Also developed by Connirae Andreas. A subtle process that works with the sense of self — "the I" — to dissolve reactive patterns at a remarkably deep level. My practice also draws on classical NLP processes and Self-Concept work.
“When the pattern moves, so do you.”
The whole point is freedom of movement — in feeling, in choice, in life.
About Mark
I learned this work from the family who invented much of it. My parents, Steve & Connirae Andreas, are pioneers of the NLP field, and I grew up with Core Transformation, the Wholeness Work and Self-Concept work as a living practice — not a manual.
My undergraduate degree is in Peace & Global Studies from Earlham College. Early in my career I worked as a counselor and trip-leader at the Monarch Center for Family Healing, guiding at-risk teens on three-week wilderness backpacking expeditions — individual therapy and group process, around the clock.
I was present at the earliest Metaphors of Movement work in Colorado in 2009 and have trained with its creator ever since. Today I co-sponsor Andreas NLP Trainings with my mother, Connirae, and co-designed the Core Transformation Coach Certification. I live in Boulder, Colorado with my wife Catherine and our son.
